Built to edit

A WordPress site your team can update without a developer

Most small businesses pick WordPress for one reason: once it is live, they want to change a price, swap a photo or post a news item themselves. We build with that in mind. Pages use a well-supported theme and the editor you will actually use, so nothing breaks when you edit a heading.

The site sits on your hosting account and your domain. Premium themes, paid plugins, hosting and the domain are bought in your name and paid by you, so the licences stay with your business if you ever change agency.

Editor choice

Built with Elementor, so you can edit it yourself

We build your site with Elementor. You change text, images and sections by dragging and clicking, with no code. The free version covers most business sites; if a page needs Elementor Pro features, the Pro licence is in your name and paid by you. Prefer the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) or another builder? Tell us at the start and we will use it instead.

We keep the plugin list short. Each plugin we add has a clear job, such as forms, SEO titles or backups. Fewer plugins means fewer updates to watch and fewer things that can conflict later.

In short

  • Elementor by default: drag-and-drop editing, no code.
  • Block editor (Gutenberg) or your own builder if you prefer.
  • A short plugin list, each with one clear job.
  • Paid themes, plugins, hosting and domain in your name, paid by you.

A good fit if you

  • Run a local or service business and need 5 to 30 clear pages.
  • Want to edit text, photos and blog posts yourself in WordPress.
  • Are moving off Wix, Squarespace or an old WordPress theme.
  • Want enquiry forms, a booking link or a portfolio, not an online shop.

Probably not the right plan if you

  • Need a full WooCommerce store with stock and shipping rules.
  • Want a fully custom theme coded from scratch (see the block theme plan).
  • Need member logins, course areas or custom web app features.
  • Have no hosting yet and want us to pay for it on your behalf.

From hosting check to handover: the WordPress build steps

1

Hosting and theme check

We check your hosting runs a current PHP version with SSL, then agree the theme and the editor or builder.

2

Page plan

We list every page, its menu spot and its main call to action. You approve the home page design first.

3

Build and content entry

We build the pages on a staging copy and enter your text and images. Forms are connected to your inbox.

4

Speed, security, handover

We set caching, image compression, backups and login protection, go live on your domain and show you the editor.

What you have on launch day

Live on your domain

The site runs on your own hosting with SSL, and the staging copy is removed.

Admin login in your name

You hold the main administrator account. Our access can be removed whenever you like.

Tested forms

Every contact or lead form sends a test message to the inbox you chose.

Backups switched on

A backup plugin is set up, and the first full backup is taken before launch.

Search basics in place

Page titles, meta descriptions and an XML sitemap are ready to submit to Google.

A list of what you own

Theme, plugins and licence holders are written down, so renewals never surprise you.

FAQ

Questions WordPress buyers ask us

Which theme or page builder will you use?

We build with Elementor on a well-supported theme, so you can edit pages yourself without code. The free Elementor version covers most sites; Elementor Pro, if needed, is paid by you. If you prefer the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) or another builder, we can use that instead. We agree this before any design work starts.

Who pays for premium themes, plugins and licences?

You do. Any premium theme, paid plugin, hosting plan or domain is bought in your name and paid by you. That way the licence and its renewals belong to your business, not to us. We tell you the cost of each one before you buy.

Can I edit the site myself after launch?

Yes. You can change text, swap images and add blog posts in the WordPress editor. Business includes a training video, and Growth and Pro include training. On Starter, training can be added through a custom package.

Is hosting included, and which host should I use?

Hosting is not included. You need a host that runs a current PHP version, gives free SSL and allows backups. If you already have hosting, we check it before we start. If you do not, we can suggest what to look for.

Can you move my site from Wix to WordPress?

Yes. Wix pages cannot be exported as files, so we rebuild them in WordPress and copy your text and images across. Each moved page counts toward your package page limit. We also set up redirects for your old page addresses where your new host allows it.

What happens with updates and maintenance after launch?

WordPress, your theme and your plugins need regular updates. Ongoing updates are not part of this build. You can do them yourself, or add one of our Website Maintenance Plans after launch.

How many revisions do I get?

Starter and Business include 2 revision rounds. Growth and Pro include 3. A round is one list of changes sent together. Extra rounds can be quoted if you need them.

Who owns the website and the design?

The copyright in the design and the content we create passes to you once the order is paid in full. Theme and plugin licences stay under their makers' terms. Your hosting, domain and admin logins are in your name from day one.

What do the four plans cost and how long do they take?

Starter is $69 for up to 5 pages, ready in 5 days. Business is $119 for up to 10 pages, ready in 8 days. Growth is $199 for up to 20 pages, ready in 12 days. Pro is $279 for up to 30 pages, ready in 16 days. Each is a one-time price. Days are counted once we have your content and hosting access.
