Contributor Agreement

The plain-English terms for selling your design files in the Omeiro store.

Last updated: November 5, 2026

In short

  • You keep your copyright.
  • Omeiro gets a non-exclusive, worldwide license to sell your files.
  • You earn 70% of the net amount of each sale.
  • Payouts are monthly, from $25, after a 30-day refund hold.
  • Upload only your own work, and label AI-made files.

1. About this agreement

This agreement is between you (the "contributor") and Omeiro. It covers the design files you upload to the Omeiro store so that we can sell licenses for them to customers. By applying and uploading files, you accept these terms.

2. You keep your copyright

You keep the copyright and all other ownership of your work. Uploading a file to Omeiro does not transfer ownership to us.

3. The license you give Omeiro

You give Omeiro a non-exclusive, worldwide license to show, promote and sell licenses for your files to customers, under the customer license. Non-exclusive means you may also sell the same work elsewhere.

This includes making previews, thumbnails and watermarked samples of your files, and using them on our website, in search results and in our marketing for the store.

4. What you earn

You earn 70% of the net amount of each sale of your file.

The net amount is the price the customer paid, minus payment processing fees and taxes (such as VAT or sales tax).

Example: a customer pays $10.00, and fees and taxes on that sale are $1.20. The net amount is $8.80, and you earn $6.16.

5. How payouts work

Each sale is held for 30 days so that refunds can be handled. After that, your share becomes payable.

We pay out once a month when your payable balance is at least $25. A smaller balance carries over to the next month.

The payout method will be announced soon, before the first payouts are made.

6. Refunds and fraud

If a sale is refunded, or turns out to be fraudulent (for example, a stolen card or a chargeback), your earnings from that sale are reversed. If the amount was already paid to you, it is taken off your next payout.

7. Your promises

When you upload a file, you promise that:

  • You made the work yourself, or you own all the rights needed to sell it.
  • It contains no trademarks, brand logos or other protected material that you are not allowed to sell.
  • It is not copied from someone else's work.
  • Any fonts, photos or other parts you include may be shared with buyers, or you clearly say they are not included.
  • Files made fully or partly with AI tools are labelled as AI-made when you upload them.

If a file breaks these promises, you are responsible for it, and we may remove the file and hold or reverse the earnings from it.

8. Review and removal

Omeiro may review any file before or after it goes on sale. We may reject a file, ask you to change it, or remove it from the store at any time, for example for quality reasons, a legal complaint or a breach of this agreement.

9. Deleting your files

You can remove your files from sale. Licenses that customers have already bought stay valid, and those customers may keep using the files under the license they bought.

10. Ending this agreement

You or Omeiro can end this agreement at any time by telling the other side by email. When it ends, your files are taken off sale. Licenses already sold stay valid.

After the 30-day refund hold on your last sales, we pay your remaining approved balance in a final payout, even if it is below the $25 minimum.

11. Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement. If we make an important change, we will email you before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
